Start with your mind...
Everyone believes that the exercise comes first, then the eating will fall into place quite easily after that.
And yeah, you probably go great guns for a few weeks...until something happens and you slip into old routines and habits.
And then the frustration begins.
You start beating yourself up. You start telling yourself you’re hopeless.
Because in order to change any aspect of ourselves, our minds must change too.
We begin these exercise routines and eating plans with no clear intentions to change our thought patterns, habits, responsibility or belief systems.
IT’S LIKE PLUGGING UP A LEAKING BUCKET WITH GAFOTAPE.
It only works for so long, until it doesn’t.
So, instead of FIXING the bucket properly, we just keep throwing a bandaid on it, still wondering why it’s not working to it’s best capacity.
If you continue with this cycle, you will never change long term, and you’ll always hold yourself back.
Address your mind first, find a strong enough reason to change, take personal responsibility and the rest will fall into place.
